ADD
“What started as somewhat clingy and fearful behavior snowballed into attacks that include the inability to breathe, inconsolability, and physical aggression that was directed both away from him an towards himself.... With constant dialogue and feedback from us, his teachers and our son as well, the clinicians at the Center for Success were able to modify the treatment areas to affect the most appropriate results for our son. Our son continues visits with an independent counselor and has dramatically increased his ability to talk candidly with the counselor. Most importantly, our son is no longer on any medication, he consistently sleeps well, he is always lucid and rational, he carries on normal conversation with both peers and adults, and everyone who interacts with him who has known him from before neurofeedback has taken note of the positive changes in him.” — Mom & Dad of "L" - age 11
ADHD
"Several times a week he would get notes sent home from his daycare stating that he would lash out by screaming, kicking chairs, hitting himself and others. These were all behaviors that he showed at home as well.... After just two visits, the child psychiatrist said he had ADHD and was ready to give my then 4 year old son medication. I decided not to show up at the next appointment....Since beginning the treatment (at Neurofeedback Centers for Success in Upland) I have seen such a great improvement in my son. I have not seen Isaac with a meltdown in quite some time. The self-hitting is something of the past. The aggression he once had is practically nothing now as it used to be. He is able to verbally tell me his feelings without acting out physically. There are still areas that we are working on to improve in Isaac, but I am confident that with continued treatment with Neurofeedback, he will continue to improve." — Mom of Isaac - age 5
"My daughter, Caitlyn, was unable to ever sit still or pay attention and had HORRIBLE temper tantrums. I did not want to put her on medicine. I have seen kids on med, and they just look out into space and don't seem alert. I wanted her to be able to learn, focus and pay attention-- now she can! She has been going to Neurofeedback Center for Success in Upland for about four months, and WOW what a difference! She can sit still and do her work now; she looks you in your eyes and listens to you. Caitlyn is still herself, just calmer and more focused. I recommend this to anyone-- with this program they are still themselves and able to succeed in life!" — Mom of Caitlyn - age 5
Peak Performance & the Competitive Edge
"When I first met Bob & Marilyn, I really only wanted to read faster and increase my retention. I was skeptical before the first treatment, however, the results were phenomena and so much more than I expected. As Bob and I talked more, I confided in him that I suffered from a lack of self-esteem in certain situations. Eventually, I also told him of the complexities of my familial relationships and how my anxiety level rises any time I have to meet with them. Again, he changed the protocol. It's almost unbelievable...I can now enjoy time with my family and when things aren't going the way I'd like them to, it doesn't really matter anymore. As a professional, looking back over 10 neurofeedback sessions, the change in me is clear and somewhat dramatic. Concentration is so much better. Focus is easier to maintain. Productivity has increased. Public speaking has improved. Living a calm life is new to me but I am enjoying it immensely!" — Renee C., LaVerne, CA
"At this point in my training, I've been noticing that I'm thinking faster with greater mental acuity. I've also noticed a sense of having more options or choices in situations where things aren't appearing to go smoothly or at least the way I had intended. I get angry less often because I see other ways to accomplish a goal or a particular task. I'm able to step back more easily to take a greater perspective on a challenge and get the "big picture," the view from "50,000 feet," if you will. Overall, these positive changes have helped bolster my confidence. I'm looking forward to how this will further manifest in my life." — Bob, Fitness Coach
"As a 36 year-old male, a police officer, who still struggles in minor way with the same issues I had in my youth, it is hard for me to admit that I am taking Neurofeedback session. But to not take these sessions, would be to give up on my long term-goals. As a pre-teen and teenager, I was filled with fantasy and imagination—hardly paying attention to life going on around me. When my parents divorced, I had constant sleepless nights and extreme fatigue with depression. As a reached adulthood, I found myself constantly dozing at the wheel, causing many minor fender benders (and a tragedy to some trees). I also had a terrible habit of forgetting and losing things—wallets, leaving the car running, etc. I could not do the one thing I wanted—become a police officer. I tried and failed. Then came Neurofeedback in my life. Within a year, the sleepless nights were a thing of the past. Dozing while driving was only a minor problem that accompanied a lack of sleep. Fatigue throughout the day completely vanished. I went back to the Police Academy and graduated 2 nd in my class academically with only average effort. I still struggle with forgetting things. But this can be associated with inconsistency in my Neurofeedback sessions. I will be starting school again soon, while I’m working full-time. My only hope is to be again consistent with the Neurofeedback to take me to the next level. " — Eddie M., Police Officer
